Our Story

More Than a Club

Newtongrange Star Community Football Club is the youth development section of Newtongrange Star FC, one of Scotland's most historic football clubs, founded in 1890 in the heart of Midlothian's mining community.

Our youth section welcomes boys and girls from ages 5 and upwards, providing a professionally run academy with outstanding training facilities and fully qualified, PVG-checked coaches. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence, and make lifelong friendships through football.

Based at New Victoria Park, our young stars train on both grass and astro pitches, receiving structured coaching that focuses on technical development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Whether your child dreams of playing professionally or simply wants to enjoy the game, there is a place for them at Newtongrange Star Community Football Club.
